Ideas: Climate Change and Working with Youth

Extension Connection features "Conversations with Youth Educators on Climate Change: Activities and Ideas" The first in a series with ideas for parents helping their students with STEM subjects. Several ideas will be discussed, round table style, involving youth (K-6th grade) in environmental projects aimed at teaching climate change. Jennifer Trimber, Natural Resources Educator hosts this panel discussion The speakers in the clip include: Annelise O'Hara, who has recently retired from a full career of elementary teaching, and Library Sciences. She is a media specialist, and has taught K-12 grades, Toni Gardner, a Natural Resource Educator, with CCE with 20 years of education experience, with all age groups. Also, on this experienced panel is Maureen Frei, an information specialist, as well a secondary school teacher. Last, but not least we have retired educator, Master Gardner, Master Composter and Library Sciences Specialist, Peg Wiedemann. Please join us, anytime, at your convenience.
