Volunteer help is needed at the CCE office with pre-registration for this collection day. Volunteers will help educate the public while gathering information required for this popular event. Training is provided.

A MATTER of BALANCE PROGRAM (AMOB)
This researched-based program addresses the fear of falling and fall prevention. Eight two-hour classes are held at various sites throughout the county with a limit of 12 participants. Workbooks, videos, and light exercise are used. The classes are for anyone over 60. Volunteer Coaches go through eight hours of training and are asked to teach two classes each year. BONE BUILDERS (BB)
This osteoporosis prevention exercise program has been in Chemung County for 16+ years. Hand weights and a variable ankle weight used during slow fluid movements to help maintain bone mass.
