Chemung County Environmental Management Council Sponsors Scholarship to NYS Department of Conservation

The Chemung County Environmental Management Council is sponsoring a scholarship to one of the four DEC camps operating across the state. Students get to take part in activities such as fishing, orienteering, bird watching, fly tying, archery, canoeing, hiking, camping, along with and optional hunter safety course. Campers learn about streams ponds, and forests through hands-on activities.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to send a young person, ages (11-17 years) for a week-long Environment Education Camp with the NYSDEC.
