Community & Economic Vitality

Welcome to our community!

Communities are defined in many different ways by the diverse people who belong to them. Here at CCEChemung, we work with communities of all kinds and configurations, providing training, resources and faciltiation to help individuals, groups and municipalities identify the issues that are most important to them, to envision potential strategies and solutions, and to organize and take action for change.

Human Resources Listserv

Feeling out of the loop regarding community events, job opportunities, service projects, grants, or feedback on service delivery?

Do you wish there were a way to share information with the entire non-profit community quickly, easily, and at NO COST? We have your answer!

Share information with the local non-profit community regarding:

  • Upcoming events and how to get involved
  • Collaboration in service delivery or grant writing
  • Job opportunities
  • Feedback on local service delivery
  • Furniture and goods donations
  • Other issues of specific interest to the health and human services community

We already have over 75 community members on this list, but our ultimate goal is to have everyone and anyone interested and involved in the community join. The list is open to persons who are affiliated with the non-profit sector. This may include employees or volunteers at not-for-profit agencies, county and city departments, elected officials, board members, or affiliates.

To have your community organization join the list, contact Jackie Spencer at CCE Chemung.
