Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development is pleased to announce the launch of two separate Agricultural Supervisory Leadership courses designed to strengthen supervisory and leadership skills within agricultural businesses. The courses will run throughout January and February with one offered entirely in English and the other entirely in Spanish, allowing participants to choose the option that best matches their language needs. The ASL103 Managing Performance course helps new and experienced supervisors build essential skills in setting expectations, coaching employees, providing feedback, addressing performance challenges, and supporting employee growth. Each course delivers the same core curriculum but operates independently, with its own instructor-led schedule and live session times.

The first course, ASL103: Managing Performance (English), is delivered fully in English in an online, instructor-led format. Participants will learn practical tools for effective communication, motivation, and accountability and gain a structured approach to managing employee performance. Course begins: Friday, January 16, 2026 Live Zoom discussions: Thursdays, January 22 – February 26, 2:00–3:00 PM ET
