Chemung County Hoarding Forum

Join us for a presentation followed by a faciliated community conversation on the topic of Hoarding.  Laurie Couillard, Health Perceptions LLC, will present "Hoarding through a Whole-Person Lens" exploring hoarding as a stress-adaptive response rather than a failure of self control or a character flaw. Using the SPECS framework, participants will examine how chronic stress, perception, and impulse patterns influence accumulation behaviors and how whole-person capacity building supports sustainable change. Following the presentation, participants will engage in a facilitated community conversation to generate insights about the issue specific to Chemung County.  Registration is required by March 10th.  Individuals who are unable to attend in person may opt to view the presentation via zoom.
