Understanding & Optimizing Your Electricity Bill - Virtual

  • Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

This workshop helps participants take control of their energy costs by breaking down the components of a typical electricity bill and identifying practical ways to reduce usage and save money. Attendees will learn how to read and understand key charges such as supply, delivery, and usage rates, as well as how seasonal changes and household behaviors impact energy consumption.

The session also explores energy-saving strategies, including low-cost efficiency improvements and behavioral changes that can lead to immediate savings. Participants will be introduced to available programs, rebates, and resources that support energy efficiency and affordability.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions, reduce energy waste, and lower their monthly electricity bills.  Please have your utility bill available to follow along!
