Positive Youth Development

Welcome to 4-H in Chemung County!  4-H programs are offered in a wide variety of formats and places in order to meet the interests and needs of the diverse families who live in our rural and urban communities. Explore our pages and then give us a call - we welcome youth aged 5 to 19 and adult volunteers to our programs! 4-H has something for everyone!

Ready to Enroll?

Here are some steps to get you started.

Step 1: Contact 4-H Staff and Volunteers to find the right club for you. Many of our clubs meet at the Chemung County Fairgrounds while others meet in the community their volunteers live. 

A few open clubs: Some clubs may have waiting lists 

  • 4-H Goat Kids
  • Horse Power
  • RugRats: A mixed age and project community club.
  • Homeschool Science
  • 4-H Four Paws Dog Club
  • Rabbit Club
  • East Hill Camo Club
  • Chemung County Livestock 
  • Sew Much and More 
  • 4-H Explore: A staff lead opportunity to try 4-H or continue to be engaged. 

Step 2: Enroll online at v2.4honline.com 

Step 3: Fill out and hand in paper forms. These can be found on the left of this screen. 

Step 4: Pay Dues of $25 per youth or $50 per family, or fundraise your dues! Please let us know if you need dues assistance.

Step 5: Attend meetings, stay engaged and enjoy your 4-H experience!
